Heavenly Father, we lift up the nation of India to You today.
We thank You for its rich history, diverse cultures, and beautiful people.
We pray for Your peace to reign in every city, village, and home.
Protect this nation from violence, division, and unrest.
Heal the divisions that exist between different groups of people.
Bring unity where there is strife and understanding where there is prejudice.
We pray for the leaders of the government at every level.
Grant them wisdom, integrity, and a heart for justice.
Help them to govern with fairness and compassion for all people.
Bless the farmers who work the land to provide food for the nation.
Provide them with good weather and fair prices for their crops.
We pray for the millions of children and youth across the country.
Protect them from harm and provide them with opportunities for a good education.
Let them be surrounded by love and guided toward a hopeful future.
We ask for Your provision for the poor and the marginalized.
Comfort those who are suffering from sickness, poverty, or grief.
Strengthen the churches and all who preach Your truth throughout the land.
Give them boldness to share Your love and grace.
Protect them from persecution and give them great favor.
We pray for the preservation of religious freedom for all.
Let Your light shine brightly in the midst of any darkness.
Bring a great spiritual awakening to every corner of the nation.
Turn hearts toward You and toward acts of kindness and mercy.
We know that You are a God who hears the cries of the needy.
We ask for Your healing hand to be upon the land.
