Prayer For Repentance

Heavenly Father, I come before you humbly today.

I acknowledge that I have sinned and fallen short of your glory.

I am truly sorry for the wrong things I have done.

I confess my mistakes, both in my actions and in my hidden thoughts.

I have chosen my own way instead of yours, and I repent.

Please forgive me for the times I have hurt others with my words or deeds.

Wash me clean from all of my unrighteousness.

Create in me a pure heart, O God.

Renew a right spirit within me.

Do not cast me away from your presence.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation.

I believe you are faithful and just to forgive me.

I trust in your promise of mercy and grace.

Help me to turn completely away from my sinful ways.

Give me the strength to resist temptation when it comes.

Guide my steps onto the path of righteousness.

Break the chains of any habit that holds me captive.

Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you.

Let my thoughts and desires align with your will.

Teach me to walk in obedience and love.

Use my life as a testimony of your transforming power.

I receive your forgiveness with a grateful heart.

Thank you for not treating me as my sins deserve.

Thank you for your incredible patience and kindness.

Your love for me is greater than my failures.

I choose to forgive others as you have forgiven me.

Help me to make amends where it is possible and right.

I surrender my whole life to you once again.

I am yours, and I desire to follow you.
